By using Parka you agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions.

Parka Lausnir ehf. ID 480616-2270, (hereinafter referred to as Parka) is the owner of the Parka smart application and Parka Ireland placeholder (hereinafter referred to as Parka software)
With the Parka software, you can, among other things, pay for fees when driving into tolled areas where, for example, Parka's Smart Access control system is in use, areas managed by the Reykjavík Parking Service, the Akureyri Parking Fund as well as other tolled areas that are available in the Parka software.
Parking and service fees paid with Parka are always according to the tariff of each area or operator separately, and the payment card is charged either to the payment gateway of the relevant operator or to Parka's payment gateway, depending on how the agreements between the operator and Parka are made.
Parka's price list for monthly subscriptions or transaction fees is available on the website and in the app at any time.
The user of Parka is responsible for the correctness of the selected area and the information provided (such as vehicle numbers).
Information based on the phone's GPS location can be inaccurate, and therefore Parka only suggests areas or an address when booking using the software. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the correct region is selected.
A smart device needs an internet connection when a product or service is purchased such as access to parking and paid areas.
Any kind of abuse of Parka is illegal and those caught doing so will be reported to the police.
The value of the purchased service is charged to the customer's card within 24 hours after the customer has made the payment. Parka reserves the right to charge the payment card later if there are problems that prevent the payment, for example due to technical reasons.
The customer is responsible for choosing the right vehicle, correct toll zone and fee when registering a vehicle in a parking lot or when making a payment.
The customer is responsible for re-registering the vehicle from the parking lot in cases where it is possible to register the vehicle in and out of the parking lot.
Parka is not responsible for the services offered in each fee zone individually or by each operator.
Parka handles all personal data in accordance with the provisions of Act no. 77/2000 on personal protection and processing of personal information.
Parka is not responsible for inconvenience or damage caused directly or indirectly due to a failure of the company's or user's computer equipment and/or software or for other reasons, which may cause information to be incorrect or the user to be unable to connect to the service.
Parka is not responsible for any inconvenience or damage that may be caused directly or indirectly due to a defect or failure in the software necessary to connect to Parka, the user's browser or operating system or Parka's computer system, or for other causes that may cause functions to with Parka cannot take place or take place in a different way than expected, for example due to a technical failure.
Parka is not responsible for damage resulting from ignorance, misunderstanding or misuse by the user or another party. Parka is not responsible for damage that can be traced to the wrong actions of the user or another party. Parka is not responsible for damage that can be traced to external events, eg failures, incorrect external information, etc. Furthermore, if the damage can be traced to incidents caused by natural disasters, wars, strikes or due to events that are considered to fall under uncontrollable circumstances (force majeure).
Parka's Security and Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms. The policy contains detailed information about security and Parka's handling of your personal information. Parka reserves the right to update the Security and Privacy Policy and it is always the valid version that is available at any time on the website Parka Ireland placeholder
Parka may change these terms. In the event of changes, all changes to these terms and conditions will be available on the Parka Ireland placeholder website
These terms are governed by Icelandic law. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not in any way reduce the validity, legality or enforceability of the other provisions of the Terms. If a case arises out of these terms and conditions, it shall be brought before the Reykjavík District Court.
